The Daily Ritual
A few careful habits keep your extensions looking as beautiful as the day they were fitted.

Washing
- Brush thoroughly before every wash to remove tangles.
- Use lukewarm water and a sulfate-free shampoo.
- Wash the scalp gently — avoid rubbing or twisting near the bonds.
- Apply conditioner from mid-length to ends only, never at the roots.
- Rinse thoroughly; residue at the roots leads to matting.

Brushing
- Use a soft loop brush designed for extensions.
- Always hold the hair just above the bond while brushing below it.
- Start at the ends and work upward in small sections.
- Brush gently 2–3 times a day, always before bed.

Drying
- Never go to sleep with damp hair or bonds.
- Apply a heat protectant before any hot tool.
- Dry the roots and bonds fully first, on a low-medium setting.
- Avoid directing heat repeatedly at the same section.

Sleep Care
- Gather hair into a loose braid or low ponytail before bed.
- Sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase to reduce friction.
- Never sleep with wet or damp extensions.

Maintenance
Keep in mind
- Schedule a move-up appointment every 6–8 weeks.
- Keep oils and heavy conditioners away from the bonds.
- Swim with hair tied back and rinse promptly after chlorine or salt water.
- Book a check-in if you notice slipping or matting.
Best avoided
- Sleeping with wet hair.
- Brushing from the root down.
- High heat without a protectant.
- Oil-based products applied at the scalp.
